good morning, everyone, i'm good morning, everyone, i'm diane macedo. >> i'm kendis gibson. here are some of the top stories we're following on "world news now." the frenzy over the royal wedding has kicked into high gear. meghan markle's dad is not going to be there to see his girl get married. but her mom sits down with the queen. president trump says kim jong un will come away from the summit very, very happy. but he warns there will be grave consequences if north korea cancels the talk. the rain just isn't stopping in the eastern u.s. with widespread showers and thunderstorms expected today. many communities like frederick, maryland experiencing massive flooding as you can see.

away from their post. it's one of the reasons that respirators are one of the most scarce items. scientists warning of major eruchesst any time. matt gutman, abc new, pahoa, hawaii. back on the mainland, at least two people, a student and teacher are dead after a school bus accident in northern new jersey. the bus was taking fifth graders and teachers on a field trip when it collided with a dump truck on a major highway, interstate 80. the impact was so strong the bus was ripped off its chassis and the students' belongings were scattered along the highway. and police have arrested the boyfriend of a southern california woman when a bomb exploded in her hands. for now, beale has not been charged with the bombing. three people were injured in the blast. dozens of children evacuated from a nearby daycare center as well. the heartland is keeping a close eye on capitol hill, a trillion dollar farm bill comes up for a vote, but it may not have the vote to pass.

a stunning video from a stunning video from outside atlanta. an emt caught beating a handcuffed teenager inside that ambulance. she says the 17-year-old spit on her. officers yelled to stop hitting. she's facing assault charges. she was also fired by the way. the teen was being taken to the hospital for psychiatric evaluation. and an oklahoma family is accusing their former nanny of holding their child for ransom. >> the nanny wanted a raise. the family said no. the dispute escalated with both sides calling 911. the father accused the nanny of all but kidnapping the kid. she says that she did what she had to do.
